CALERA, Ala. | The University of North Georgia women’s golf team improved its score on Tuesday afternoon but remained in sixth place at the end of the 36-hole event at 310-304-614. Jordyn Sims repeated her first round 75 to finish tied for 14th place individually.

Anna Greer saw the most improvement between the two rounds as she cared a 74 in today’s round, eight strokes lower than her opening 82 on Monday.

Host Montevallo walked away with both the team and individual titles with a 282-294-576, finishing at +8, 16 strokes ahead of second place UNC Pembroke.

The Nighthawks return to action in two weeks, traveling to Hilton Head, South Carolina for the UNCP Battle at Old South on Sept. 24 and 25.
