(ATLANTA, Ga.) – On Friday-Saturday, the Truett McConnell University women’s track and field team traveled to compete at the Emory Spring Break Classic, where the Lady Bears where featured finishing in 13th out of 18 teams with a combined total of 17 points.

LEADERS
Leading the way for the Lady Bears was Katilyn Babb who was featured recording a first-place finish in the javelin throw with a final mark of 39.35 meters. In the running events, Kyleigh Johnson was seen finishing in sixth with a time of 15.86, while the 4x100m relay team, featuring Johnson, Myesha HallBrooke Wilmoth, and Adella Twinomugisha, also found a sixth-place finish with a time of 50.11 seconds.

Up next, the Lady Bears will travel to compete in the two-day Don McGarey Invitational hosted by Kennesaw State University on Friday, March 22 through Saturday, March 23.
