(Atlanta)- The Georgia Department of Labor Thursday released the latest county unemployment figures. In White County the unemployment rate in July was 5.6 percent, that compares to 5.4 percent revised rate for June. The labor department said the labor force for the county in July was 14,079, of those 13,291 were employed while 788 were unemployed.
Georgia Mountains’ unemployment rate in July was 5.6 percent, up two-tenths of a percentage point from 5.4 percent in June. Metro Gainesville had the state’s lowest area jobless rate at 5.5 percent.
