(Cleveland)- On  Monday,  the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office and the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office executed a search warrant at 246 Wallace Street.

Mitchell  Posey, Special Agent in Charge of the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office said in an email, the search warrant concluded a four month investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine from the residence that was occupied by 35-year old Kory Thomas Farman, 35, and  26- year old Brandy Nicole Chappell. 

According to Posey, a  quantity of methamphetamine and marijuana with a street value of approximately $500 was located during the search.  Farman was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with intent to distribute.  Chappell was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Related Objects. 

Farman and Chappell were transported to the Rabun County Detention Center where they are being held.

The Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office is a multi-agency unit that consists of the following Sheriff’s Offices: White County, Lumpkin County, Towns County, Banks County, Habersham County, Stephens County, and Rabun County, along with the Georgia National Guard Counter Drug Task Force, the Department of Public Safety, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
