District 3 White County Commissioner Edwin Nix

(Cleveland) – White County Commissioner Edwin Nix has been reappointed to serve on the Board of Managers for the Association County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG). Commissioner Nix, who has represented District 3 on the White County Board of Commissioners since 2011 and previously served from 1999 to 2002, was sworn in during the ACCG Annual Conference recently in Savannah.

Commissioner Nix commented, “I am honored to continue serving on the ACCG Board of Managers, ACCG plays a crucial role in supporting Georgia’s counties, and I look forward to contributing to its mission.”

“We are excited to welcome our newly installed Board of Managers, a group of dedicated leaders chosen by their peers to guide our organization,” said Executive Director Dave Wills. “Their commitment and expertise will be invaluable as we work together to advance the interests of Georgia’s counties.”
