(Cleveland)- It’s Halloween time and again this year several departments of White County Government participated in the county’s annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest.  A total of 14 entries were made.

For the second year in a row, White County Sheriff’s Office took first place with their Spider Pumpkin, second place was White County EMA, with a colorful pumpkin gumball machine, and third place was a Charlie Brown pumpkin display submitted by White County Board of Commissioners, the honorable mention was awarded to White County Library for their Fairy House pumpkin.

Judging the pumpkin entries were, Samantha Sinclair, White County News, Stacy Brooks, White County Health Department and Dean Dyer, WRWH Radio.

Krystal Talley, White County Human Resources coordinator said, “ Thank you to all who participated in the pumpkin decorating contest.”

Not only do these winners get bragging rights but win a $30 Walmart gift card.
