DAHLONEGA | In an effort to continue to bring the message of the University of North Georgia Nighthawk nation directly to the local Dahlonega community, the UNG athletic department has announced the details for the March version of Hawk Talk. The seventh installment of the all-access talk show will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, Mar. 28 on the back deck of Bourbon Street in downtown Dahlonega.

The show has been pushed back from its normal start time to allow the Nighthawk Nation to take part in Nigel the Nighthawk’s Mile of Superheroes fundraiser at Achasta Golf Club. The special edition will also feature key representatives in Tuesday’s Make-A-Wish Day built by the Nighthawk Nation scheduled around UNG’s softball and baseball games broadcast by ESPN3.

Guests on this month’s show include representatives from the NCAA Division II national office, Make-A-Wish Georgia, UNG athletic director Lindsay Reeves, softball coach Mike Davenport and baseball coach Tom Cantrell.

The monthly, live-only show is part of the Nighthawk Sports Network and provides Nighthawk fans a chance to listen to interviews with UNG coaches while enjoying dinner in a casual and social setting.

The “Voice of the Nighthawks” Craig Corbin will host the hour-long show.

In an effort to drive traffic to each host restaurant, Hawk Talk will not be broadcast, so Nighthawk fans are encouraged to come join the show for dinner or drinks and catch up with the latest happenings of Nighthawk athletics.

The show will be recorded and made available at UNGAthletics.com.
