36-year-old Jarred William Seabolt of Demorest

(Cleveland)- A traffic stop last Thursday in White County resulted in a Demorest man being arrested on several drug charges.

White County Sheriff Rick Kelley said, on August 24 around 6:50pm  Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a 2013 Ford F 150 for a brake light violation on Duncan Bridge Road.

The sheriff said during the traffic stop a K9 conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle and alerted. During the search, several drugs were located including crack cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, and over 4 grams of Fentanyl.

Kelley said agents with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office responded. Following their investigation they arrested 36-year-old Jarred William Seabolt of Demorest.

Sheriff Kelley said Seabolt was charged with Possession of Schedule IV (Alprazolam), Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine, Trafficking in Cocaine; illegal drugs, or methamphetamine.
