While I am keenly aware of the importance of money, I would like to see more focus on the issue of the long term goal of the good of the community. It has to do more with worldview than with federal and state requirements for getting more funds. Competing in the world stage is meaningless unless we know what we want to compete for. World government? Or a limited Constitutional Republic? A Biblical worldview? or a post-modern belief that all religions are equivalent? What do we want to support with our money? And what strings come with the financial support we receive?
