(Cleveland)-  A 31-year old Clermont woman has been arrested and charged in connection with an arson case in White County. 

Capt. Clay Hammond Criminal Investigations Division White County Sheriff’s Office said in an email statement on  November 4th White County Sheriff’s Office responded to 361 Leatherford Rd. in reference to the victim being alerted, that Jennifer Casillo was at the residence.

The victim called the Sheriff’s Office and advised Casillo had intentionally set fire to items at the residence.

Hammond advised that when deputies arrived, the items were still on fire and were put out with a fire extinguisher.

Casillo was arrested on November 17th following an investigation of the incident and charged with Criminal Attempt Arson 1st Degree, Criminal Damage to Property 2nd Degree, and Arson 3rd Degree.
