The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has announced that showers and possibly a few thunderstorms will make their way into our area tonight as a front pushes through the area. The primary threats with any storms that develop will be locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds.

Another storm system will affect the area late Saturday night and Sunday. At this time, heavy rainfall appears to be the greatest threat.

In addition, the coldest air mass of the season is slated to arrive Monday and Tuesday with the potential for some light snow across the North GA Mountains late Monday Night into early Tuesday. There is still some uncertainty in that system, so keep your radio tuned in to WRWH 93.9FM for any updates and changes.
