(Cleveland)- The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in White County has reached 50. That according to the latest data released by the Georgia Department of Public Health at noon Tuesday. There are still no deaths related to the Coronavirus in White County.
The latest department of public health information has 1,132 cases in Hall County with 15 related deaths. Habersham County has 197 confirmed cases with 6 death. Union County has 34 cases and two deaths, Lumpkin County 33 cases with 1 related death and Towns County has 20 confirmed cases with one death.
You are urged to continue to wash your hands often, practice social distancing and wear a mask and gloves when you go out in public to help picking up or spreading the virus.
Well hey, if doors are being reopened, we should reach our peak sooner, and it should be over sooner, right? WRONG! Remember Paul McCartney’s song “Someone’s knockin’ at the door, someone’s ringing the bell…do me a favor, open the door and let ’em in”? I personally don’t want (Gov. Kemp’s) favor and would rather lock the doors like many sensible others feel.
Don’t see this as anything but BAD for all of us since a certain restaurant in white county hasn’t practiced social distancing or ever wear face masks or gloves! Even the guy who was cooking the bbq didn’t have any ppe’s on. That’s just not right and btw: the food is terrible. I have no idea why this pizza restaurant was voted best in white county.
