(Cleveland)- White County Government hosted its Annual Employee Wellness Fair Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

Since 2012, White County Government has offered a Wellness Fair to its 350-plus employees and their spouses.

The two-day event was an opportunity for Employees to meet with vendors, participate in biometric screenings, and fulfill wellness requirements that allow employees to participate in a program that provides lower payroll deductions for health insurance.

Vendors such as MSI Benefits Group, Cigna Insurance, One Source EAP, and MetLife all participated and educated Government Employees about their services. A total of 182 employees and spouses participated in the event. Employees received immediate results from screenings and had the opportunity to review those with a health coach.

Krystal Talley, White County Human Resources Coordinator said, “The Wellness Fair helps the employees of White County recognize health concerns and many of those can be treated when caught early. Over the years several employees have shared their gratitude for catching these issues early.”

According to Talley, wellness funds received by the county from Cigna make this event and other health-focused events possible throughout the year.

A special “thank you” goes out to the participants, all of the vendors, and Farmhouse Coffee for bringing their coffee trailer.
