(Cleveland)- Three White County Sheriff’s Office employees have been recognized for their completion of training.

In a social media post, Sheriff Rick Kelley and the White County Sheriff’s Office congratulated Deputies Cody Payne and Victor Cirilo for their completion of the Basic Mandate Course at the Public Safety Academy.  The post said the deputies will remain in the academy for an additional 6 weeks to obtain further training and certifications.

Sheriff Kelley held a swearing-in ceremony and badge pinning of the two officers.

Sheriff Kelley and the White County Sheriff’s Office also announced that Deputy John Carter has completed the Georgia Sheriff’s Association Senior Deputy Certification, a completion that requires an additional 324 hours of training beyond that of the Georgia Basic Law Enforcement Certification.  The social media post said, “We believe this is an exemplary display of dedication and determination, and we congratulate him on this accomplishment.”
