Sports – The winning streak for White County increased to 3 and 0 last night when the Warriors took a near shut-out victory over the Pickens County Bulldogs, 42 to 7.

Still riding the wave of their hard fought win against Hart County last week, the Warriors came out ready to win.

Even though the Bulldogs won the coin toss and chose to receive first, it would be the Warriors who would benefit from that decision as on just the second down of the game a fumble by the Bulldogs would allow the Warriors’ Silas Mulligan to claim the ball, leading to a touchdown for White County and the first points of the game.

Even though Pickens County fought hard, it wasn’t enough to keep the Warriors out of the end zone and by the end of the third quarter, White County would get their final touchdown of the evening with a total of 42 points. It wasn’t all zeros for the Bulldogs though as with only 13 seconds left in the game, Pickens would make their way to the end of the field and rack up 7 points of their own.

The final for the game was 42 to 7 Warriors.

Your Captain D’s players of the game were Silas Mulligan on Offense and Riley Turner on Defense.

Next week the Warriors will head next door to take on Habersham Central with the pre-game show starting at 6pm right here on your home of the Warriors and the Bulldogs, 93.9fm WRWH.
