Sports – High School Football returned for Warrior fans last night, but the varsity boys were unable to bring home a victory over the Trojans at the brickyard last night.

The first points were placed on the somewhat faulty scoreboard last night by North Hall just five minutes into the game, answered by the Warriors four minutes later by Noel Lammers. One more touchdown by the Trojans would round out the first quarter.

Quarter two would begin the same, with North Hall putting up two more and the Warriors’ Tripp Nix matching with two more for the Warriors. The Trojans would close the half with one more, bringing the halftime score to 20 to 35, North Hall.

The third quarter would only contain one touchdown, belonging to the Trojans.  In the final quarter Tripp Nix and John Phillips would bring 14 more points to the Warriors and North Hall would add 7.

The Warriors seemed to struggle to catch up to the Trojans throughout the evening last night but were unable to climb out of the deficit created early in the game. The final score for the evening was 49 to 34, North Hall.

The Captain D’s players of the game last night were Cayson Duvall and Tripp Nix.

The next game will be played at home for a non-region bout against Habersham County, and WRWH will be there to bring you all the play-by-play action on your home of the Warriors and the Bulldogs, WRWH.
