Warrior(CLEVELAND)- If you abandoned the White County Warriors thinking the Madison County Raiders had last night’s game in the bag, you missed an outstanding 4th quarter. The Warriors got three  touchdowns in the last 13 minutes giving them a final score of 34-27.

True to Coach Bill Ballard’s style, the second  half was adjusted and looked like a completely different game, exhibiting extensive resiliency to snag a huge region win. Even with clock management and questionable calls the Warriors wouldn’t give up another loss.

An injured Max Turner scoring the last touchdown with 36 seconds left in the game. The Warriors are now 1-1 in Region play and 3-2 overall. Will this win offer enough momentum to take on Stephen’s County next week for the next region game? Last night the Indians smashed Monroe Area 42-28.

The Warriors have a lot face as Stephen’s County only loss was to Elbert more than a month ago, plus next Friday is their homecoming.

Gets the pro’s scoop as Drew Harris and Brent Maddox host Warrior Rally next Thursday starting at 6 at the Soda Fountain Café.
