COLUMBUS, Ga. – In a very close match, the University of North Georgia men’s tennis team fell to No. 7 Saint Leo, 4-3, Saturday.

UNG won the doubles point after winning two of the three doubles matches, clinching wins at Nos. 1 and 3 doubles.

Singles was all for the Lions as SLU won four of the six singles matches. Jess Jones and Ryan Gaskin won for UNG in singles, getting wins in the No. 2 and 3 slots, respectively. Gaskin needed a third set to clinch his win at 11-9.

The Nighthawks will be back on the court February 17 at home against Queens. First serve is set for noon.
