(Cleveland)- Two people so far have qualified for the special White County Board of Education election scheduled in conjunction with the November General Election.  Brock Pulliam, who is currently serving an interim position on the board,  qualified Monday and Wednesday  Charlie Bryson, a fire investigator,  made his intentions known, that he will be a candidate.

Qualifying for this position will continue through noon Friday in Probate Judge Garrison Baker’s office, located in the White County Courthouse.  The special election will be non-partisan and will fill a vacancy on the White County Board of Education, created with the resignation of  Roger Fitzpatrick.  The winner will serve the remainder of the unexpired term that will end December 31st 2018.  Persons wishing to qualify as a candidate must be a resident of  Board of Education District 2 and must have lived in the county for 12 months prior to the election.
