(MOLENA, Ga.) – On Saturday-Sunday, the Truett McConnell University cycling team traveled to compete in their third race of the 2023 season at Camp Thunder, where three Bears secured podium finishes.
Avery VanLaar led the way for the Bears, finishing first in Women’s Cross Country and third in the Women’s Short Track. Hollis Webb secured a second place finish in the Women’s Downhill while Madison O’Dell found a third place finish in the Women’s Short Track. In the Men’s Cross Country, Aiden VanLaar was capable of finishing in fifth followed by a fifth place finish in the Men’s Short Track.
Up next, the Bears will travel to Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, N.C. on Saturday, Sept. 23 – Sunday, Sept. 24.
