(BREVARD, N.C.) – To conclude regular season action, the Piedmont men’s lacrosse team earned a decisive win 24-3 at Brevard Wednesday night. Piedmont ends the regular season with an impressive 13-2 record while going 6-1 in league play.

The Lions struck just three times in the opening period but poured it on in the second with nine goals to lead 12-0 at the half. Michael Anderson was the hot hand in the contest, leading the team with six goals as he scored four of those in the second quarter alone.

The six goals for Anderson mark a career-high for the senior. Brady McGuire also had a career night as he added a career-high 10 assists in the contest while scoring three goals to total a career-best 13 points.

Piedmont continued its offensive onslaught in the third quarter with another eight goals and kept the Tornados off the board until the fourth period taking a commanding 22-0 lead early in the fourth. The three goals for Brevard came against Trey Tuggle who played the final period.
