Patricia Carol “Pat” Hardigree, age 74, of Hoschton Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021, following a brief illness. Pat is preceded in death by her husband James Phillip Hardigree; father, James Hosch and mother Jeanette Gittens Hosch; sister, Gail Kennedy; brothers David Hosch, Terry Hosch.
Pat is survived by her children James William “Bill” (Angelina) Hardigree of Gainesville, GA and Timothy Andrew “Tim” Hardigree of Hoschton, GA; stepchildren, Twanda (Bruce) McElreath of Bethlehem, GA and Tyron “Ty” (Donna) Hardigree of Dawsonville, GA; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Patricia married her true love, James Hardigree, in the summer of 1972. They were married until his death in 2008. They went on to raise two children. She worked part of her life in sewing mills and for the last thirty years she worked for McDonald’s Corporation in various roles. Her favorite role was being a wife and mother. She enjoyed canning vegetables from James’ summer garden. She loved cooking for family and friends and always had biscuits on the table. Known for her sense of humor and willingness to take a joke, she will be missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Center United Methodist Church, 7641 Jackson Trail Road, Hoschton, GA 30548. She will lie in state from 1 PM until 2 PM with the service beginning at 2 PM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
