(Cleveland)- The Cleveland Police Department has reported the arrest last Thursday of a Murrayville man on drug charges. A social media post by Cleveland Police stated that a drug arrest was made following a traffic enforcement stop.
On Thursday, February 8, Police Officers conducted a traffic stop and located 68 grams/ 2.4 ounces of methamphetamine, liquid fentanyl, and related drug paraphernalia.
The driver was identified as 48-year-old Brian Prater, of Murrayville, Ga. was arrested at the scene for the trafficking of methamphetamine and possession of fentanyl. Agents from the Appalachian Regional Drug Task Force assisted with the investigation.
Prater was transported to the White County Jail.
