Mr. Richard Michael “Ricky” Wright, age 55, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Wright was born in Ellijay on February 18, 1962. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Harold Wright and step-father Raymond Chastain. Mr. Wright worked as a auto-mechanic. He worked for John Megal Chevrolet, Cody Chevrolet, and Hardman GMC. Mr. Wrig enjoyed R/C toys of all kinds. He was a jack-of-all trades.
Survivors include his wife, Shari Wright, Cleveland; daughter and son in law, Crystal Dale and Will Martin, Ellijay; step-daughter and son in law, Shea and Chad Ray, Clermont; step-daughters Jennifer Wimpy, Dahlonega; Meaghan Matt, Flowery Branch; step-son, John Sullivan, Auburn; mother, Pat Chastain, Dahlonega; sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Doug Soule, Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Laura Lathem, Dahlonega; sister, Beth Wright, Ellijay; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services are scheduled for 7 P.M. Monday, June 26, 2017 in Banister Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Joe Simmons and The Rev. Jeff Durham will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3 PM until the service Monday at the funeral home.
