Geraldine Lewallen Perry, age 76 of Baldwin, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017.

Born in Pendleton, South Carolina on July 13, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Corbin Lee Lewallen & Jerrie Mae Alexander Lewallen. Mrs. Perry had lived in Habersham County all of her life and was retired from International Outerwear with many years of service. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Rev. Berthel “Bert” Perry, daughter, Diane Perry O’Kelly, brothers, Lee Lewallen & Billy Lewallen, brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Bee & Dorothy Mae Perry.

Survivors include grandchildren, Amy & Jeff Dockery, Rev. Devin & Summer O’Kelly all of Cleveland, GA; son-in-law & spouse, Rev. Danny & Joyce O’Kelly of Cleveland, GA; great-grandchildren, Hannah & Rylee Higgins, Colby, Liana, & Trenton O’Kelly all of Cleveland, GA; sisters & brothers-in-law, Willie Mae & Swayne Crocker, Janice & Jimmy Hurt; brother, Bobby Russum all of Cornelia, GA; sister-in-law, Laverne Lewallen of Cornelia, GA; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Ernest & Lillian Perry, Eugene & Carolyn Perry, all of Mt. Airy, GA; Phil & Wanda Perry of Demorest, GA; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Ovaline & Sidney Abernathy of Calhoun, GA; Genevie & Kirby Ward of Mt. Airy, GA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.

Homegoing services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Danny O’Kelly & Rev. Roy Lee Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 9 p.m. on Saturday.
