(Cleveland)- The Cleveland City Council Monday night approved a proclamation designating June 10 through 14 as Georgia Municipal Courts Week in the city and the council recognized Cleveland Municipal Court Clerk Charlie LaVelle who has served in that capacity since 1999.
Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Garrison Baker, who also began his judgeship with the city in 1999, shared comments about LaVelle, saying “ She is one of the most knowledgeable court clerks that I know, she is highly efficient, she’s got a sense of fairness and impartiality.”
