(ADAIRSVILLE, Ga.) – On Monday-Tuesday, the Truett McConnell University men’s golf team traveled to compete in the Eagles Spring Invitational, where the Bears finished runners-up out of five teams with a team score of 599. No. 21 Point University was crowned invite champions, while TMU was featured besting invite host No. 22 Reinhardt University.
Jackson Stone led the way for the Bears finishing tied for runner-up after shooting a 75 through round one and a 73 through round two. Michael Osborne and Eli Goff followed tied for sixth place after individually shooting a 75 in round one and round two. Logan Moon was featured tied for ninth after shooting a 77 and a 76, while Peyton Shedd placed 13th after shooting a 79 and a 76. Rounding out TMU’s results was Caden Sanders who tied for 17th after shooting a 75 and an 82.
Up next, the Bears head to Seneca, S.C. for the AAC Tournament on Monday, April 24 – Tuesday, April 25.
