(Cleveland)- A great event is planned for this Saturday at the Sautee Nachoochee Center as the 15th  Annual Folk Pottery Show and Arts Festival will be held.

Wednesday Emily DeFoor, Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia Director talked with Dean Dyer on Local News Radio 93.9 FM.  DeFoor said the event will be on Saturday from 10 AM until 4 PM on the Sautee-Nachoochee Center Campus and will feature 45 artists who will be at various locations on the center campus.

She said in addition to potters there will be painters, woodworkers, jewelry makers, and others participating. In addition to the artist, three food trucks will be there along with Glenn Dorsey cooking up some barbeque.

DeFoor shared they will soon be breaking ground for a pottery teaching studio on the SNCA campus. “We anticipate a lot of programming, classes, and community involvement in that as well, “ said DeFoor.

The event this Saturday will provide something for every member of the family and DeFoor says, “There’s no admission charge.”
