Warrior Sports Broadcast team Shane Welborn, Drew Harris and Brent Maddox

 

(Cleveland) The award-winning WRWH football broadcast crew returns this fall for their 5th season of White County Warrior football. The broadcast team will cover all ten regular season contests, as well as the scrimmage game vs. Lumpkin County on August 14th. Each broadcast will feature an hour long Tailgate Show starting at 6 p.m., followed by a 30 minute Pregame Show at 7 p.m. leading up to kickoff at 7:30 p.m.

The Tailgate Show will feature analysis of each team, the schedule for the night, a college football preview, and our weekly Pigskin Picks. The Pregame Show will contain weekly interviews with Head Coach, Bill Ballard, assistant coaches, and players.

Drew Harris returns for his 9th season of broadcasting White County Warrior football and 6th season as play-by-play voice. He spent one year as sideline reporter, two as color analyst, and one as play-by-play announcer at WNGA before WRWH took over the coverage of Warrior Football in 2011.

Shane Welborn will back for his 5th season as color analyst. Shane, a White County graduate, wrote game stories for The Gainesville Times and Gwinnett Daily Post before joining the broadcast crew.

Brent Maddox will man the sidelines once again doing the in-game reporting and live interviews. Brent is the SRO at White County High School, and you can see him doing many different jobs for a number of White County High & Middle School sports.

Mark Turner will be joining the crew again during the Tailgate Show to provide reports and analysis. Mark is the sports editor for the White County News.

Lastly, the crew will feature a new member this season, Pat Schofill will join the team as the Rules/Officiating expert offering in-game analysis from down on the sideline. Pat, son of Coach Bill Schofill, has worked as a football official with the Georgia Football Officials Association.
