(Cleveland)- The number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in White County has risen to 122 with 84 patients recovered and the number of related deaths at three. Hall County now has 2,699 cases with 54 deaths, Habersham County 576 cases, and 28 deaths. In Lumpkin County, they have 106 cases, one death. Union County 53 cases and the number of deaths there have increased to 2. In Towns County 32 cases with one death related to the virus.
Officials have announced another COVID-19 testing event has been scheduled for this Saturday in Gainesville. The Georgia Department of Public Health’s District 2 office will host the event at St. John Baptist Church at 757 E.E. Butler Parkway. The testing event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The tests are free. For anyone who wants to have a test prior to Saturday’s event should call your local health department.
