(Cleveland)- The White County Board of Education was recognized by the Georgia School Board Association for achieving the Quality School Board Status. The recognition is designed to showcase the best practice in school governance and leadership.
White County Board of Education Chair Missy Jarrard said this is not just their award, “but it’s really about our staff, our staff that are in the buildings, we have to get the certificate, but it’s all about the good work that is being done from Dr. Burkett down to our teachers, our parents, our students everyone working together,” said Jarrard.
The White County Board of Education has received this quality status every year since 2013.
The board will be officially recognized at the state school board association meeting in a couple of weeks.
