As the third quarter was wrapping up and Maurice Sutton scored a 13 yard touchdown, every parent’s worse nightmare occurred, White County Warrior Sophomore Caleb Leverette was injured on the field. He was sent to the hospital as a pre-caution with parents, as he left he field the entire stadium offered him a standing ovation.
Brent Maddox, form the sideline said he was talking and moving as he was being transported, but no other details were offered.
