Scott Justus
(Gainesville)- White County School System’s Assistant Superintendent has been named Middle School Director at Lakeview Academy in Gainesville. Lakeview head of school John Simpson made the announcement on Wednesday.
“Scott Justus brings over 26 years of experience from two different public school systems to Lakeview,” said Simpson. “I am confident that his experience, plus knowledge of the community will be valuable to the continued growth of Lakeview Academy.”
A press release from the school said Justus will take on the role of Middle School Director that will be vacated by Darlene Snyder at the end of the school year. Simpson said, “Darlene has served Lakeview for almost 20 years, and I am indebted to her for her service to the children and families of Lakeview.”
Before working in the White County School System, Justus served as the principal of West Hall High School. He was also a teacher and coach at Chestatee High School and North Hall High School.
