NEW ORLEANS – All-Region honors for the 2019 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field season were announced on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) and the University of North Georgia track & field team had three athletes honored by the association.

Imani Arnold earned all-region honors in the 800 meter race after finishing fourth at the Peach Belt Conference Championships. Bree Hammond was named All-Region in the steeplechase after finishing runner up at the conference meet, and Abigail Kirkland was All-Region in the 400 meter hurdles after winning her second straight PBC Championship in the event.

The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of the region’s top-3 relay teams. A total of 1831 honors were handed out to USTFCCCA member institutions on Monday, which included 926 to men’s programs and an additional 905 to women’s programs.
