GULF SHORES, Ala. | Freshman Tyler Barber is set to run in the 66th Annual NAIA Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Gulf Shores, Alabama, in the first year of Truett McConnell’s track and field program. Barber will run in the 800 meter race.
The preliminary heats will be contested on Friday with the championship race set for Saturday. Barber will run in the third of three heats on Friday which are scheduled to start at 2:20 p.m. He will be running out of lane 2 which, in his heat, is the inside-most lane. The top two from each heat plus the next two highest times will advance to Saturday’s championship race.
