(Cleveland)- Some White County voters will return to the polls Tuesday to participate in the primary runoff election for the State House District 8, which includes Rabun, Towns, Union and the northern part of White County. White County Chief Voter Registrar Lisa Manning reported the turn out during early voting, which ended Friday, was very low.
Manning and White County Election Superintendent Garrison Baker urges those who didn’t participate in the early voting to go to your precinct Tuesday and vote.
Matt Gurtler and Kent Woerner were the two top voter getters from a four candidate field seeking the post in the May 24th primary.
Only five voting precincts are affected in White County they are; Blue Ridge, Helen, Robertstown, Tesnatee, and Town Creek.
Other counties in Northeast Georgia will hold runoff elections tomorrow as well, they include contests for coroner, county commission and board of education in Lumpkin County; coroner and probate judge in Banks; sheriff and tax commissioner in Dawson.
