Mrs. Billie Faulkner Kenimer, age 96, of Sautee-Nacoochee passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021.

Mrs. Kenimer was born in White County on August 4, 1925, to the late Clinton and Viola Nix Faulkner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 60 years, Raymond Kenimer; son Terry Kenimer; and sister Louise Dorsey. Mrs. Kenimer retired from the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, GA after 38 years of dedicated work. After she retired, her new title became “Nanny”. She deeply loved her grandchildren and spent much of her retired years caring for them. Mrs. Kenimer loved to spend the rest of her time traveling with her husband. She loved to cook, and she was an avid reader. Mrs. Kenimer was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Missing her most will be her daughter and son-in-law Roxanne and Charlie Whitfield; grandchildren Scott and Brandi Whitfield, Stephanie and Wayne Ivester, all of Cleveland, and Tracie and David Caudle, of Cumming; great-grandchildren Katelyn Ivester, Tyler Caudle, Aaron Caudle, Lindi Hoersten, and Noah Hoersten; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. 

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, October 1, 2021, at Old Zion Church Cemetery (Faith Presbyterian Church). The Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate.
