(Cumming)- Former White County High School Girls Interim Head Basketball Coach Quint Moss has been named the new Girls Head Basketball Coach at Forsyth Central High School in Cumming.
A Facebook post from the high school Friday afternoon said we are excited to announce that Quint Moss has been named FCHS’ Girls Basketball Head Coach. Moss coached at White County for eight years. Last year he was the interim Head Coach, leading his team to the Elite 8. He will also serve as a Special Education teacher at the Forsyth County school.
In April of this year, the White County Board of Education decided to bypass Moss but instead go with a committee recommendation to hire Steve Shedd, from Banks County as girl’s head basketball coach for the new season coming up.
Good for Coach Moss! Now you can build your team & let the Victories add up.
Revenge is better sweet.
White County will live to regret this miscarriage of justice. Hopefully, those who voted against Coach Moss on the Board of Education will be primaried and voted off the board next election cycle. Anyway you slice it—this was wrong. On the other hand, Coach Moss will probably make three to four times more than what he made here in Forsyth County, and I’m sure he’ll get some respect from the Board of Education there as well. Living well is the best revenge…
Well said, Joseph! I wanted to bring up the salary issue. I have a cousin & couple friends kids teaching in Forsyth and they’re doing very well..
