(Cleveland)- Due to the excessive rainfall Saturday night and Sunday morning several roads in White County have been closed. Rainfall amounts of over six inches have been reported in the 24-hour period ending Sunday at 7 AM.  Weather Reporter Bill Kinsland reported 6.05 inches of rain, and we recorded  4.90 inches for the 24 hours at WRWH. 

White County Manager Jason Cobb released the following list of road closures due to the rain and flooding.

Roy Powers Rd. is closed at the bridge.
Airport Rd. is closed at the bridge.
Barrett Mill Rd. is closed at the triple culvert at the creek.
Hulsey Mill Rd. is closed at the bridge.
Charlie Thomas Rd. is closed at the bridge.
Webster Lake Rd. is closed at the bridge.
1019 Black Rd. is closed either side of here. Between Cooley Woods and Dock Dorsey.
Sandy Flats Rd. 1/4 of road is closed in area where it washed out last time. Still letting people through where road is safe.
164 Carolina Springs Rd. has one lane closed. Letting people thru where road is safe other side.

Everyone is encouraged to be cautious while traveling county roads.
