(Cleveland)- A multi-agency investigation that began over two months ago has resulted in the arrest of a Cleveland man this week on various drug-related charges.
The Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO), working in conjunction with the White County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia Department of Community Supervision, made the arrest Tuesday after executing a search warrant at a residence on Tulip Trail near Westmoreland Road.
ARDEO Special Agent in Charge Mitchell Posey said, “Agents confiscated from the residence approximately 24 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 3 grams of suspected marijuana and a revolver. ”
Posey added that the confiscated methamphetamine had already been packaged for distribution at the time of the search.
