Cleveland – The White County Sheriff’s Office has released the Activity Report for the month of March.
In March, Uniformed Officers conducted 16 misdemeanor arrests, 12 felony arrests, 39 arrests for warrants, and two arrests for DUI. Officers responded to 3212 calls for service, including 56 calls for alarms, 12 domestic calls, 13 animal calls, and 83 school checks. 278 traffic stops were conducted, with 60 citations issued and 22 traffic arrests.
White County Investigators processed 6 death investigations, 2 assault/battery cases, 5 for child molestation, and 2 cases of reported rape. 201 investigative interviews were conducted with 48 cases opened and 17 cases closed. $35,001 was reported in thefts and $13,900 in theft recoveries were made.
Court services saw 33 courtroom hours in March, screened 2,410 people, served 33 warrants, 78 civil papers, and 20 subpoenas were served last month.
