(Cleveland)- White County residents still have time to qualify for this year’s election. 

Akyn Bailey, White County Elections Supervisor speaking with Local News Radio on Tuesday said qualifying will continue through Friday at noon at her office in the Mauney Building on the Helen Highway. 

Bailey also said following a unanimous vote by the elections board the Helen and Roberstown prescient’s will be consolidated beginning with this year’s election. The prescient will be called Roberstown/Helen and voting will take place at Helen City Hall. 

Bailey also shared about other actions approved by the board.

Pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 21-2-265 of the following actions approved by the White County Board

of Elections and Voter Registration:

The Nacoochee Polling Place will be relocated from the Sautee Nacoochee Community

Association (SNCA) Conference Room located at 283 Hwy 255 N. Sautee-Nacoochee, Georgia

30571 to the Sautee Nacoochee Community Association (SNCA) Community Hall located at 283

Hwy 255 N. Sautee-Nacoochee Georgia 30571.

The Mount Yonah Polling Place will be relocated from Cleveland First Baptist Church located at

25 Church Street Cleveland, Georgia 30528 to The Bridge Church located at 607 Hulsey Rd

Cleveland, Georgia 30528.

The Robertstown Precinct will be combined with the Helen Precinct. Robertstown Polling Place

will be relocated from Center Baptist Church located at 109 Elrod Road Helen, Georgia 30545 to

Helen City Hall is located at 25 Alpenrosen Strasse Helen, Georgia 30545. The combined precinct

of Helen and Robertstown will be known as the Roberstown-Helen Precinct.
