Local – The Warriors were at home last night for Senior Night and were victorious for the final regular game of the season.

White County battled the Gilmer Bobcats on their home turf and the Warriors were off to an early lead less than two minutes into the game with a 30-yard touchdown run by Ryan Fowler, answered five minutes later by the Bobcats, tying it up at 7.

Quarter two began with a missed 31-yard field goal attempt by Vandergrift but was quickly forgotten as Fowler once again stepped up to score on a lengthy 1-yard touchdown run.

Following halftime festivities, it would be Gilmer to score first to tie the game at short-lived 14, when Tripp Nix put up 7 more points for the Warriors.

In the fourth quarter, the Bobcats would attempt to tie the game again, but a bad snap on the extra point left Gilmer struggling to pull ahead, short by only one point.
