(CLEVELAND) – Grace Lansdell, of the Truett McConnell University women’s golf team, earned the Appalachian Athletic Conference golfer of the week award for the week ending Sunday, announced the league Monday.
 
The freshman standout made her debut as a Lady Bear shattering the TMU day-one record through the first 18 holes at the Point Fall Ladies Invitational with an impressive 72. Lansdell shot a 79 day two to tie for first overall of 30 individuals (total 151), which led her team to their first-ever tournament win.
