WEST POINT –  The Truett McConnell University women’s lacrosse team traveled to Appalachian Athletic Conference foe, Point University, to open up their 2019 season. The Lady Bears fell in their season opener (19-2) while the Skyhawks won their third game of the year.

COACH’S COMMENTS

“First game is out of the way,” Head Coach Channing Hoyt said. “This was Point’s fourth contest. They came out super aggressive all over the field. Turnovers were our worst column. Overall, glad our team had a hard contest to get the season going. Learn from our mistakes and work for the next opportunity.”
