(Cleveland)- White County School officials advised Tuesday afternoon they were made aware of rumors about a threat targeting White County High School.  In an email to school personnel administrators advised that “all threats are taken very seriously by the school system and the Sheriff’s Office and are addressed immediately.”

Assistant Superintendent of Schools  Scott Justus said the incident was investigated and found to be unsubstantiated he assured that all students and staff are safe.

White County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Rick Kelley advised there have been a couple of unsubstantiated threats at the High School.  Deputies have followed up and have not been able to confirm any of them.  He said, just as a precaution there, will be an increase in law enforcement presence at the High School Wednesday.
