(Cleveland)-On National Day of Joy, the White County Rotary Club decided to express a simple act of kindness by is joining other volunteers to assist White County School Nutrition workers Wednesday and Thursday to prepare bagged meals for White County School students as part of the “Summer Feeding Program”.

They have several thousand meals to go out with limited help because several seniors from churches are still not engaging in the community due to COVID-19. The Rotarians met at 8:30 AM at the White County Middle School to help.

Abby Rowland School Nutrition Director said, “We will be sending out 5 days of food this Friday to help the students get through the “dead” week next week when they will not be delivering meals.

She said any help would be appreciated.
