(Cleveland) – Several people were taken into custody Monday following multiple searches at a total of 15 residents in White County.  

The White County Sheriffs Office, the Department of Community Supervision and the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office worked together following information received by the public on each of the places, said MitchelI Posey, Special Agent in Charge with the Appalachian RDEO in an email release.  

Posey said at each location they ask nicely to search for illegal narcotics, remove drugs from our streets and to deter drug dealers from selling illegal narcotics in White County.

According to Posey, the following were taken into custody: Joshua David Cunningham, Glen Ronald Goerke, Victoria Aubrey Thompson, William Nicholas Nicely, and Thomas Keith Trammell were arrested at 859 West Kytle Street in Cleveland. According to Posey, White County authorities found 1 gram methamphetamine valued at $110 and 1 firearm. Goerke Thompson, and Nicely were charged with possession of methamphetamine. Thompson was also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Cunningham and Trammell were arrested for probation violations.

Christopher Shane Goodsir was arrested at 170 Sycamore Dr. Cleveland, Law enforcement found 1 gram meth, 3 codeine pills valued at $125 and recovered a stolen trailer from Hail County valued at $999. Goodsir was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule 3 drugs, and theft by receiving. Johnny Ray Bridgers was arrested at 726 Partin Rd. Cleveland. Authorities found I gram methamphetamine valued at $110. Bridgers was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

Jeffrey Anthony Chastain and Amanda Christine Anderson were arrested at 1149 Black Rd in  Cleveland. Posey said, deputies found 1 gram meth, 3 amphetamine pills, 2 grams marijuana valued at $200. Chastain and Anderson were charged with possession methamphetamine, possession of schedule II drugs and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
