Clyde Asbury Chambers, age 91 of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord on
Wednesday, February 7, 2018.

Mr. Chambers was born on October 6, 1926, in Demorest, Georgia, to the late Jim
and Minnie Skelton Chambers. Clyde was a self-employed farmer and carpenter
and was a member of Zion Interdenominational Church. He was preceded in
death by his brothers and sisters, Hallie Warwick, Grace Darnell, Delmar
Chambers, John Henry Chambers, Junior Chambers, and Emory Chambers.

Survivors include his wife, Ruthlene Chambers, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-
law, Linda and Leon Gilleland, Cleveland; daughter, Deborah Chambers,
Cleveland; grandchildren, Casey and Charles Caudell, Jasper, Ryan Gilleland,
Cleveland, Matthew and Angela Gilleland, Cleveland; great grandchildren, Kaylee
Caudell, Hannah Caudell, Tyler Gilleland, Aaron Gilleland, Greyson Gilleland;
sisters, Lois Hogan, Cleveland, Betty Caudell, Cleveland, Renoria Hallford,
Demorest; sister and brother-in- law, Jimmie and Jimmy Jenkins, Clarkesville.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the
Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Heffner, the Rev. Paul Flynn, and
the Rev. J.D. Sosebee, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Zion
Interdenominational Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3-7 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
