(WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. ) – On Friday, the Truett McConnell University men’s cross country team competed in their final meet of the 2022 season, where the Bears secured a seventh place finish out of 12 teams (2:27:08) at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament Meet.  

“I am proud of the way the men competed this season,” said Head Coach Jarret Holland. “They are a great group and I am pleased with what was accomplished this year.”

Marco Flores led the way for the Bears with a final time of 27:28.6, while Bryson Swartz finished with a time of 28:36.5. Cooper Gibson followed up with a Tim elf 29:51, and Jakob Lee recorded a time of 29:56. Luke Palmer was seen recording a time of 31:16, while Tyler Rock and Ethan Deppe rounded out the results for TMu with individual times of 32:55.8 and 35:06.4.
